Generation change at the top executive – CEO and founder Hans-Jürgen Grämer is leaving KEMAS for retirement
After more then 28 years CEO and founder Hans-Jürgen Grämer says goodbye to KEMAS and retires.
Hans-Jürgen Grämer has founded the company with 5 combatants in March 1991, after the breakdown of GDR´s economy. Base of this was his idea from a key management for industry and public sector. That it would success to build up a business with approximate 100 employees and a turnover about 14 Mio €, nobody guessed. Since 2016 KEMAS is an integral part of KEBA AG settled in Linz/Austria and has well known national and international customers.
Customers were and still are the motivation for innovating and developing. After trade fair presentations at Security 1990 and Hardware Fair Cologne 1991 Hans-Jürgen Grämer could acquire Siemens Erlangen as a big player. With Siemens the KEY-Manager developed from a wood cabinet to a stainless steel device. One think that has not changed over time is the unique combination of know how in the fields of mechanism and electronic engineering, identification technologies and software. Under the heading digitalisation and industry 4.0 custom made solutions are resulting.
With April this year, simultaneous with the beginning of the new fiscal year, Björn Grämer is continuing the business from his father. He is supported by Volker Rattmann, Head of Business Development and Jens Seidel, Head of Operations. Together with a dedicated workforce and KEBA AG as a strong partner, the company is ready for future.
